Here it is!!!
I would like to introduce you all to our 20 acres of land. We have owned it for about a month now and have made the 10 hour return trip to go and play 3 times since we got the keys.
It's the most wonderful feeling getting this little place. Each time we drive over the hill that looks over the valley a calm feeling of home hits me. I smile and never want to leave.
So far we have just been doing the weeding and mowing and cleaning up the inside of the house. It is hard work and my body aches. The good old place that as we now know was built in 1880 is coming up a treat. We have some issues with rising damp and may need to replace the floor in the Master bedroom. All else seems in good condition apart from some cosmetic stuff.
The kids are hardly ever seen as they explore and build bases all over the place. They look for treasure and precious rocks. There is a creek that runs along side our northern fence and they love playing down there. Here is some pictures of our little piece of heaven.
