We think we found it.

So we think we found the one. It's stunning! It is set on 20 acres in the gorgeous Flinders Ranges in South Australia. We have been stalking this house over the Internet for weeks. We have been consistently looking for suitable properties for the last 2 years. Saving them on our list and sadly watching them sold off. This house has been up since the beginning of October and ticked most boxes on our property check list. It needs work but mostly cosmetic. It has a bore to water our land with and the best part........a creek running right through the property. The kids loved peering over the bridge to watch the biggest tadpoles I have ever seen swim around. Oh and just for me a working wood stove right in the kitchen. We viewed two other properties while we were down there and the all had there advantages and down falls and we feel that the one we have chosen best suits the needs of our family and our plans......we put in an offer and are currently competing with another couple on the house. So far our offer has not been rejected and we should hear more tomorrow. This is so exciting and nerve wracking at the same time! If we do get this place we will need to do some renovations before we move in. The house is livable but it will be easier to do the renovations while we are not living in it. We will probably only do the front end of the house first that has the bedrooms, lounge and hallway. The kitchen, second bathroom and study will be a job for another time and the laundry and bathroom have already been done. So fingers crossed this is the one!!
