What to do when it's too hot outside.

Today it is very hot outside. We are living under our air conditioner to escape the heat. Charlotte is the only one of our three home as the boys are staying with family in S.A until tomorrow. So instead on laying out on the lounge watching Tinkerbell I thought it would be better to whip up some play dough and make mess!

The play dough recipe is very easy.
2 cups plain flour
1 cup salt
2 tablespoons oil (I used canola)
Boiling water from the kettle
food colouring.

Place flour, salt, oil and food colouring in a bowl. Slowly mix in enough hot water until a dough forms. knead on the bench to bring it all together and then let cool before the kiddos play.

Play dough is great for not only entertainment but for developing children's fine motor skills and building up the muscles in their tiny little hands.
